Virtual Meeting Guidelines for Worship Services

• Know that if you are sharing by video, you will be seen by other participants at all times.  Please act and dress appropriately as you would reverence any Worship Service.

• You should change your view in Zoom to Speaker View to see the person that is speaking. The Gallery view will show all participants.

• For Worship Service, everyone will be muted upon entry, and participants will be unmuted when they are to present.

• The Chat function is available if you need to send a message to the host. You can privately message anyone on the call or you can send to everyone.

• If you have not re-named your device to identify you (ie. From Ipad, Iphone, etc), you can change to your name during the call by doing the following:  Hover over your name and click the “More” button, Click “Rename”, Change to your First and Last Name.

• If you would like to have a profile picture shown instead of your live video, you will need to create a Zoom account (Basic plan is free) and you will be able to add a Profile picture for your account.   Once you log in to the call,  Click Stop Video button, and the Profile picture will be shown instead.

 

Troubleshooting Tips

• If you are unable to hear, click “Join Audio” at the bottom of the app. You may also need to change your audio Settings on your device to allow Zoom to have access. It may prompt you at the time of the call to allow access.

• If you want to share your video, but cannot see yourself, click “Start Video”.
